About the event

You'll be spending a full day in the ReWild woods learning the ancient skill of fire by friction, alongside traditional bushcraft, whittling, natural cordage, nature connection and plenty of wild fun.

For this special one-off workshop, we're delighted to welcome Tom Morris – a born and bred Welshman from the South Wales Valleys who now calls the Blue Mountains of Australia home.

Tom is a seasoned and highly skilled bushcraft practitioner with a wealth of experience in traditional outdoor skills, firecraft and working with natural materials.

He's back on Welsh soil for a limited time, so this is a one-time opportunity to spend a day learning with him before he returns to Australia.

Fire by friction

At the heart of the day will be learning to create fire using the bow drill.
