About the event
Working with sustainably sourced timber, you’ll learn how to shape stool legs on the pole lathe, use hand tools including drawknives and shave horses, and assemble your own beautiful rustic stool to take home.
This is a hands-on, grounding and creative experience — combining practical skill-building with the slower rhythm of woodland craft.
To make the experience achievable within a single day, some preparation work is completed in advance, allowing you to focus on the most enjoyable and rewarding parts of the making process.
No previous woodworking experience is necessary. Beginners are warmly welcome.
